Applications, on prescribed form, are invited for Fifty Three (53) posts of PMS Officer (B-17) (In-service Quota) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department from Pakistani citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa / F.A.T.A domicile by 19.08.10 (02.09.10 for candidates from abroad). Incomplete applications and applications without supporting documents required to prove the claim of the candidates shall be rejected without intimation to the candidates.     

Eligibility Criteria

Selection will be on merit, on the basis of competitive examination, to be conducted by the Commission in accordance with the provisions contained in syllabus, from amongst persons (Male/Female) holding substantive posts of Superintendents, Private Secretaries, Personal Assistants, Assistants, Senior Scale Stenographers, Stenographers, Data Entry Operators, Computer Operators, Senior & Junior Clerks who possess post-graduate qualification from a recognized University and have atleast five years service under Government.

Syllabus

The Syllabus and standard for the Competitive Examination for the Provincial Management Service for 10 % quota of ministerial employees of the Provincial Government as mentioned in Schedule-1 of PMS Rules, 07 shall be as under:

      1. The Examination shall include four compulsory subjects.
      2. A candidates shall answer the papers in English unless otherwise directed.
      3. The Papers, compulsory subjects and maximum marks fixed for each subject shall be as shown in Table below:-

GENERAL CONDITIONS.

(i)  The posts will be filled in on open merit. Qualification and Service etc shall be reckoned on 19.08.2010. Any candidate who does not possess the required qualification/ Service by the material date will not be considered.

(ii) Degrees / Diploma / Experience Certificates / Testimonials of unrecognized Institution are not accepted. Only original Degrees / Certificates are accepted. However, the candidates can apply on provisional certificates signed by the Controller of Examination of the respective Institution but candidates shall produce original degrees / certificates before their selection. Detail Marks Certificate for all the examinations shall necessarily be required and these should be attached with the application forms.

(iii) Applications should be on the prescribed application form obtainable from the listed below branches of the NATIONAL BANK OF PAKISTAN. Application Fee is Rs. 285/- (Rupees Two Hundred Eighty Five) for all the candidates. In addition to the application fee, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 15/- (rupees fifteen) per form on account of Bank Charges. Application forms obtained other than the specified branches of the National Bank will be considered invalid and such applications will not be entertained. The applications on plain paper or Photostat shall not be accepted. Incomplete and late applications shall also be ignored.

(iv)  Application must be submitted within time as no extra time is allowed for postal transit. The applications if submitted on the last date for receipt of applications must reach the Commission’s office by the closing hours.

(v)  Applicants married to Foreigners are considered only on production of the Govt. Relaxation Orders.

(vi) No applicant shall be considered in absentia on paper qualifications unless, he/she possesses exceptionally higher qualifications than the minimum prescribed qualification for a particular post(s).

(vii)  Govt. reserves the right not to fill any or fill more or less than the advertised post(s).

(viii) Candidates will be admitted to the examination provisionally at their own risk subject to be found eligible in all respects. On detailed scrutiny of the applications after the written examination is over, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect under the rules for the examination, his/ her candidature will be cancelled regardless of the fact whether he/she has appeared in the examination or qualified therein. To avoid frustration the candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before appearing in the examination that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules relating to the examination

(ix)  Grace Marks are not allowed.
